Fukuoka - Week 9 (Total, week 18)

The days/weeks are just blurring together. I have to write the things that are interesting in my planner throughout the week, or I forget them.
This week, I had the opportunity to go on Splits with the other Elders in my district. Always a blast experiencing missionary work with other missionaries, and seeing how they do things.
A couple of weeks ago we met an interesting guy. He had long hair, and is a DJ. The other day, he called us, and wants to meet sometime. It was an awesome miracle.
We had the awesome opportunity to go up to Fukuoka to hear from Elder Nelson. He came to speak with us about iPad's, which we should be getting sometime soon. My whole Doki was there too. It was awesome to see them. They are doing really well.
My companion and I are getting along much better now. It's way easier to do missionary work when you and your companion have a good relationship.

You're all in my prayers. Love you.

Fukuoka - Week 8 (Total, week 17)

Well I guess it's been 4 months already.. This past week has been a good finding week. We did a lot of housing/streeting, and found a couple of good investigators. There was a very interesting fellow named T, he had really long hair and wore a lot of pink clothes. He gave us a flier with him posing like a girl.. Very interesting, but everyone needs the gospel, right? We had a lesson set up with him yesterday but he ended up being sick so we had to reschedule. We got to go to the temple on Saturday as well. Very spiritual. Walking up to it I felt like I was walking home. It was amazing.

Well hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Fukuoka - Week 7 (Total, week 16)

Well. Blows my mind that I've already been out for 4 months. It's going by way too fast.

Some of the things that happened this week.

One of our investigators is getting heart surgery this week, and will be out for about a month. He will be missing his baptism, but says after the surgery he will want to keep meeting with us.

We ended up having to drop a few of our investigators, which really kinda sucks. And since we have been so busy with teaching, we didn't leave much room for finding these past couple of weeks, so our teaching pool has gotten pretty small. It was a good lesson for me though. We have to always be finding even when times get busy.

There was a baptism this past Saturday, which was way cool to experience. He has been going to church most of his life with his mom who is a member, so he new everything, and pretty much had a testimony, but it was good to be his friend through his baptism.

We played soccer again this week, and I don't think I've ever been this sore in my life. I got wrecked by a 12 year old... but it was fun. And hopefully some people come to Eikaiwa.

Well. Have a good week. I will this week. :)
